The North Central Texas College Foundation hosted its annual Donor Scholar Breakfast on Friday, November 7, on the Gainesville campus to celebrate donors and the achievements of scholarship recipients.

Some of Montague County’s brightest stars traded their work shoes for dancing shoes at the Dancing to the Stars competition on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Bowie Community Center.

Cheryl Capuchina, a dedicated volunteer with the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) and Tutoring Services Coordinator at North Central Texas College (NCTC), recently participated in CRLA’s 58th Annual Conference.

North Central Texas College marked a major milestone with the official groundbreaking of the new Clark Residence Hall, named in honor of the college’s founder, Randolph Lee Clark. The three-story, 54,000-square-foot facility will be located on the Gainesville campus and is designed to accommodate up to 150 students.

NCTC is honored to announce the establishment of the Janet Morris Red River Promise Scholarship, a newly endowed scholarship by Frank Morris, a long-serving community leader whose impact on the region and NCTC spans decades.

The Creativity Awards at North Central Texas College are once again open for submissions! This is the annual writing and art competition at NCTC that ends with the publication of Sonder and our yearly celebration. Anyone from middle school, high school, college, and beyond is welcome to submit poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, and/or visual art for consideration.
