Psychology

Psychology is the study of individuals and their mental processes, cognitions, emotions, and behaviors. Main areas of study include human development, sexuality, the self, personality, intelligence, perception, mental health, stress and illness, and issues related to counseling and treating an array of psychological disorders.

NCTC provides five courses in this discipline and  the courses will vary by semester and campus. Psychology courses are often required for students planning to major in Nursing, Education, and Criminal Justice.
