This introduction to Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a program that includes online job training leading to industry-based certifications and credentials.

For qualifying students, tuition will be covered, pending grant funding availability through August 2024. Eligibility requirements:

  • Age 14 or older

  • U.S. Citizen or Authorized to Work in U.S.

  • If male, registered for U.S. Selective Service

Program Includes

  • Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

  • Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

  • Certified Production Technician (CPT)

  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30

  • The Occupational Skills Award (OSA) is designed to prepare students with entry-level skills in logistics. The OSA also has a pathway for students who have completed any of these certifications: OSHA 30 Hour General Industry, Certified Logistics Technician (CLT), or Certified Production Technician (CPT) to apply for experiential credit for specific courses in the OSA.

    Upon completion of the OSA, students will be able to:

    • Demonstrate knowledge of logistics, quality, and safety in an industrial environment.

    • Demonstrate the ability to apply decision making techniques based on time, materials and space.

    • Describe the benefits and applications of quality control.

    OSA Course Requirements

    OSHT 1320 INDUSTRIAL SAFETY - (3 credit hours) or OSHA 30 Certification

    QCTC 1303 QUALITY CONTROL - (3 credit hours)

    LMGT 1319 INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS LOGISTICS - (3 credit hours)

    LMGT 1321 INTRODUCTION TO MATERIAL HANDLING - (3 credit hours)
