Business Management Program details

Students can earn a Level 1 Business Management Certificate and then work towards an AAS Business Management Degree at NCTC. All of the required coursework can be completed online if the student desires, making each of the three tracks manageable for each individual’s needs. Some courses are also offered in-person - giving the option to choose the learning environment that is most beneficial for the student.

  • The General Business Concentration is ideal for students who desire to work at a corporation or small company in an entry-level management position or supervisory capacity. This track is also a good fit for someone who is not exactly sure which direction they want to go post-graduation, as it will allow them to become versed in a variety of business-related subjects.

  • The Human Resources Concentration is perfect for students who want to work at a corporation or small business and serve in a Human Resources role. From organizational strategy, to benefits and payroll, to hiring and training, and so much more, Human Resources professionals do so much to serve an organization.

  • The Entrepreneur Concentration is for students who envision opening and operating their own business. They may also be interested in working for a small start-up business or managing a large portion of a smaller company. They will acquire the tools needed to help a business grow over time and remain successful.
