DFTG 2302 - MACHINE DRAFTING

Production of detail and assembly drawings of machines, threads, gears, utilizing tolerances, limit dimensioning, and surface finishes.

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Interpret terms used in tolerancing

  • Identify dimensions of two mating parts

  • Draw spur and/or bevel gears

  • Draw details and assemblies

  • Identify interference and clearance fits

  • Identify types of threads forms

  • Interpret thread notes
