CDEC 2322 - CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE TRAINING II

A continuation of the study of the requirements for the Child Development Associate credential (CDA). The six functional areas of study include safe, healthy, learning environment, self, social, and guidance.

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Explain methods to establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment

  • Describe ways to support social and emotional development

  • Describe techniques used to provide positive guidance

  • Utilize skills in writing, speaking, problem-solving, time management, and record keeping
