Cooke County United Way is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to be a trusted partner and advocate for a stronger, safer and healthier community by inspiring people and mobilizing resources to meet human needs. Resource Development Coordinator

Work Setting: Office
Role Overview:
- Observe daily operations
- Learn about the campaign and how the fundraising preparation happens and is executed
- Shadow interactions with community leaders and nonprofit agencies
- Attend some meetings and events on behalf of United Way
- Help with marketing and social media, presentations, and other digital media
- Assist with actual in person campaigning and meetings as well as presentations

- Standing/Walking for long periods
- Confidentiality expectations
- May be outside in the summer, able to withstand heat
- Dress Code: Casual/Business Casual, depending on the day

Resource Development Coordinator

- Plan campaigns and community engagement
- Create/prep marketing materials for mailouts and social media
- Solicit donations
- Shadow employees
- Participate in supervised tasks
- Attend community events or meetings.
