PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Patient Care Technician Occupational Skills Award (OSA) program offers training, skills, and knowledge needed to gain employment as a Patient Care Technician in a hospital setting. Practical, general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the employer, college, and student.
This program requires 48 lecture/lab hours and 112 hours of clinical externship. Upon successful completion of this program, you may earn a priority point toward admission into an NCTC Nursing program.
