NCTC Board of Regents Vacancy

The North Central Texas College (NCTC) Board of Regents is accepting letters of interest to fill a vacancy on the board. Board Chair Karla Metzler submitted her resignation Monday evening, and the vacant seat is expected to be filled by December 1, 2026.

Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest to the board committee for review by November 6, 2026. The committee will review submissions and announce a new regent at the board’s regularly scheduled November meeting. The new regent will serve from December 2026 through the May 2027 election. At that time, the individual may seek election to continue serving or choose not to continue the position.
