Test Day Requirements

  • All TEAS registrations are final, no exceptions.
    If you can’t make the purchased session and have a documented emergency, please contact: 800-667-7531, and they can let you know where to send documentation. If you miss the original purchase date, it will not count against you as an attempt, however you will have to pay for an additional session.

  • Please arrive 30 minutes early to the testing site. Late arrivals will NOT be permitted to test, NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Please bring your atitesting.com username and password so you are able to load the exam. Testing staff will provide a post-it for you to write it down on.

  • Calculators are NOT allowed (a basic, four function calculator will be provided within the test) If taking a paper/pencil TEAS, testing staff will provide a calculator.

  • Bring a NON-EXPIRED Government issued photo ID. The name on your ID needs to match the name on the test roster. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Test Day Information

  • Students are allowed four hours for testing.

  • Testing staff will admit you to the testing room and direct you to your seat.

  • The proctor will provide you with scratch paper for use during the test. Scratch paper is not to be used before the exam or during breaks. All paper must be returned to the proctor at the end of the testing session.

  • After the Mathematics session, you may take a 10-minute break. During the break, you WILL NOT be allowed to access personal items. If you need to leave your seat at any other time, raise your hand. Exam time will not be stopped, and lost time cannot be made up.

  • If, during the exam, you have a technical issue with your computer, or for any reason need the proctor, raise your hand.

  • Test challenges, or testing room complaints should be reported to the proctor before leaving the room on exam day.

  • Re-tests should only be taken after the student has reviewed the study material. Students will not be allowed to re-test on the same day.

  • TEAS scores will be valid for 24 months from the date of test.

  • Testing priority will be given to students enrolled at North Central Texas College and those applying to NCTC’s Health Science Programs. Please refer to NCTC’s Health Sciences for more specific program information details.
