There are several degree options in the for those that want to teach children. Teachers are in high demand for all age groups. Start your career in education here at NCTC.
Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT)
If you want to teach in the K-12 school system, you’ll want to take up the AAT degree plan. You’ll complete the degree at NCTC and then transfer to a university for your Bachelor’s degree and Teaching Certification. NCTC works closely with our partnering universities for seamless transfer opportunities to university without losing credits.
Child Development Degrees (CD)
The Child Development Degrees are designed for those that want to care for infants, toddlers, and pre-school children. After earning the Child Development degree, you can enter the workforce in a daycare center, preschool, or other early learning center or transfer to the university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
There are two levels of degree completion:
Level 1 Certificate
Associate of Applied Science
