TCOLE Training
NCTC is a contract training provider for the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). We are certified to offer continuing education credit for TCOLE licensees. These courses may include legislatively required continuing education curricula and learning objectives developed by the commission; training in excess of basic licensing course requirements; training courses consistent with assigned durites; or training not included in a basic licensing course. TCOLE requires 100% attendance to receive credit for a course.

This 89th Legislative Update Course provides 4 hours of TCOLE continuing education credit. Designed to meet the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement’s requirements, this course delivers a comprehensive review of key legislative changes from the 89th Texas Legislature as well as significant U.S. Supreme Court and 5th Circuit Court of Appeals decisions that directly impact law enforcement practice. Not all bills will be covered in this course. This material is a general summary of selected court cases and changes to Texas’ statues that govern the laws enforced along with the administration of law enforcement officers and agencies.
You must have a TCOLE issued PID number to take this course.
