Different students require different pathways, and we want to help you find your best fit. Need help figuring out the best pathway for you? Explore our pathways at NCTC.
Students who fulfill all Promise requirements receive guidance to help them transition from high school to college. Once you’re enrolled, success coaches, academic advisors and faculty will continuously support you and keep you on track as you earn your certificate or degree.
The Red River Promise Program covers tuition and fees through a combination of grants and scholarships. Be sure to complete all steps below by the deadlines to remain eligible.

The Red River Promise Pledge opens for graduating high school seniors on: September 1
Please note, students must have the following to participate:
Program Requirements:
Graduating from a partnering Promise high school
10 hours of community service during your junior year in high school
Academic Achievement:
Actively working towards college readiness per Texas state standards
Must graduate high school on time within the academic year
Persistence:
Progress on time through high school
Enroll in college for immediate fall semester following high school graduation

Submit your pledge to open your possibilities with the Red River Promise Program by
February 1st

Apply to the Promise partner college or university of your choice and submit your FAFSA and community service form by
