Learn the art of crafting authentic tamales in this hands-on cooking class where participants mix masa, prepare flavorful fillings, and practice proper wrapping and steaming techniques. 

Whether you're a beginner or looking to perfect your family recipe, this class offers step-by-step guidance, cultural insight, and tips for making tamales that are tender, tasty, and ready to share. All ingredients and supplies are provided, and each participant will take home a batch of freshly made tamales.

This course will take place at the NCTC Gainesville Campus on 2/26/2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
