Earn multiple awards and certificates on your way to an AAS Degree

An OSA is a sequence of courses containing 9-14 credit hours and is usually completed in one semester.

A Level 1 Certificate may have 15-42 credit hours and is usually completed in one to three semesters. It may be called a basic certificate or a certificate.

A Level 2 Certificate may have 30-51 credit hours and is usually completed in two to three semesters. Students enrolled in a Level 2 Certificate program must meet the requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI).

The AAS Degree is usually earned in two years with 60 credit hours minimum completed. Students enrolled in an AAS program must meet the requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI).
CRIMINAL JUSTICE
NCTC’s Criminal Justice program prepares you for employment in the fields of law enforcement, corrections, probation/parole, forensics, and investigation. Our specialized training fosters critical thinking and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
