Amazon provides a variety of education and upskilling opportunities including prepaid college tuition, industry certifications designed to lead to in-demand jobs, and foundational skills such as English language, high school diplomas, and GEDs.

How to Apply

for Amazon Career Choice with NCTC

  • You will need to apply to NCTC through applytexas.org

    Make sure to check your email or text messages for admissions decisions!

  • Transcripts -

    • New Students need to request official high school transcripts from your previous high school

      • If you earned a GED, request official GED scores

      • If you didn’t earn a GED or graduate from high school move on to the next step!

    • Transfer Students- If you have received college credit from another institution, request your official transcripts from all previous colleges/universities you have attended.

    Electronic Official transcripts will only be accepted directly from the institution of education it is from. Transcripts can be sent to admittranscript@nctc.edu

    TSI Assessments -

    • Degree Majors

      • Review the TSI exemptions

      • Or take the TSI test

    • Certificate Majors

      • Move to the next step

    All TSI scores or exemptions can be sent to admissions@nctc.edu

    Meningitis Vaccination -

    If you are younger than 22, submit proof of a meningitis vaccination or exemption/waiver.

    Submit proof of Meningitis Vaccination to admissions@nctc.edu

  • Once you have met with an advisor and chosen your program. You will need to enroll in your necessary courses either with your advisor or online through MyNCTC

    • Visit A to Z and submit a payment request for your chosen school and program

    • The request will be sent to the school to confirm course level details, and either approve or deny the request.

    • If approved, Amazon pays the school directly!
