Montague County Event Raises Funds for Scholarships

Some of Montague County’s brightest stars traded their work shoes for dancing shoes at the Dancing to the Stars competition on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Bowie Community Center. Hosted by the North Central Texas College Foundation and the Bowie Rotary Club, the event raised over $54,000 to support scholarships for Montague County students, as well as other charitable initiatives. Guests were treated to an evening full of music, laughter, and spirited competition as local dance duos dazzled the stage with their moves. The night concluded with Travis and Renee Hart taking home the People’s Choice Award, while Cameron and Meredith Gunter claimed the prestigious Championship Mirror Ball Trophy!
