English Language Proficiency

 

All international applicants must submit proof of English Language Proficiency. English Language Proficiency is determined through the TOEFL exam. Applicants must meet the following minimum score requirements.

Exemptions

Certain applicants may qualify for a TOEFL exemption if they meet one of the following criteria.

  1. You are a citizen of one the following countries:

  • Anguilla

  • Antigua

  • Australia

  • The Bahamas

  • Barbados

  • Belize

  • Bermuda

  • British Guyana

  • Canada (except Quebec)

  • Cayman Islands

  • Dominica

  • Falkland Islands

  • Grenada

  • Guam

  • Guyana

  • Ireland

  • Jamaica

  • Liberia

  • Montserrat

  • New Zealand

  • South Africa

  • St. Helena

  • St. Kitts and Nevis

  • St. Lucia

  • St. Vincent

  • Trinidad & Tobago

  • Turks and Caicos Island

  • United Kingdom (including England)

  • Northern Ireland

  • Scotland

  • Wales

  • The Virgin Islands

2. You have a diploma from an accredited U.S. high school.

3. You have taken a college English course (at a U.S. college).

4. You have a degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.
