Applying Advanced Placement & College-Level Examination Program Credit

If you have Advanced Placement (AP) or other likely credits earned through local or national exams and/or military or professional experience, please submit official score reports or other official documentation to the Registrar’s office for evaluation.
Check the Credit by Exam Chart to see if you qualify for course credit. Any usable credits will be applied after the Official Date of Record (refer to dates in Academic Calendar) for your most current enrolled semester.
CLEP
The Credit by Exam Chart also has a list of College Level Placement Exam (CLEP) tests and the course credits accepted at NCTC. NCTC does not grant credit for every CLEP exam offered.
For questions about applying your CLEP credit towards your NCTC transcript, please contact the Registrar’s Office.
NCTC administers CLEP testing through the Gainesville Testing Center, so please check the Testing Center for current fees and available dates.
