Medal of Honor Host City Museum Now Open to the Public
Gainesville, Texas — The Medal of Honor Host City Museum is now officially open to the public, inviting visitors to explore a powerful tribute to American valor and sacrifice.
Located at 1525 W. California Street on the North Central Texas College Gainesville campus, the museum is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
As the only museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to the Medal of Honor Host City Program, this unique institution offers a deeply moving and educational experience. Through fascinating exhibits, personal stories, and authentic artifacts, the Medal of Honor Host City Museum honors and preserves the legacies of the nation’s most decorated military heroes—recipients of the Medal of Honor, the highest military decoration awarded by the United States government.
