Cooke County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan Update

In coordination with Cooke County, the Cities of: Callisburg, Gainesville, Lindsay, Muenster, Valley View, Towns of: Oak Ridge, Roadrunner, Independent School Districts (ISDs) of: Callisburg, Era, Gainesville, Lindsay, Muenster, Sivell’s Bend, Valley View, Walnut Bend, and The North Central Texas College, are updating the Cooke County Hazard Mitigation Plan.

In addition to the survey, Cooke County will hold public meetings to gather public input for updating the Hazard Mitigation Plan. The purpose of the public meeting is to provide a project overview from H2O Partners, Inc., consultant to the project, and solicit information from citizens. Public input will help the project team to analyze potential hazards affecting residents and recommend possible actions to reduce their impact.
