100 Hours of Community Service

Celebrating 100 Years by Serving Our Community for 100 Hours

On Friday, March 22nd, 2024, NCTC held a ‘Day of Service’ in which all staff were welcome to participate by spending the day volunteering locally. With the goal to reach a total of 100 combined community service hours in honor of NCTC’s 100-year anniversary in mind, 70 staff members total volunteered in Denton County, Cooke County, Graham, and Bowie.

NCTC staff spent the day with Gainesville Parks & Recreation, VISTO, the Graham Crisis Center, Bob’s House of Hope, Shiloh Garden, Ranch Hands Rescue, Our Daily Bread, and the Christian Community Action for a total of 254 hours, giving back to the communities that have made NCTC what it is today.

Some NCTC staff that missed this opportunity to serve have committed to serving on their own time in support of this mission, so the total hours will continue to rise!
