VTHT 1345 - VETERINARY RADIOLOGY

Presentation of theory and principles and practical application of radiology within the field of veterinary medicine.

Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate safety procedures 

  • Prepare and use technique charts

  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs using stationary and portable X-ray machines

  • Maintain radiographic equipment

  • Label, file, and store radiographs

  • Identify and/or use other diagnostic imaging modalities

Prerequisites: (Program prerequisites) BIOL  1406 or 1408; MATH 1314 or 1324; ENGL 1301 or 2311; VTHT 1301
