RBTC 1301 - PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLERS

A study in programmable logic controllers (PLC).  Topics include processor units, numbering systems, memory organization, relay type devices, timers, counters, data manipulators, and programming.

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Write a working PLC program using ladder logic.

  • Install and troubleshoot the program.

  • Integrate PLCs into electro-mechanical systems.
