Free GED classes for Cooke County residents

Adult and Continuing Education (ACE), the non-credit division of North Central Texas College, is offering free GED classes to Cooke County residents. The GED certification course, offered in both English and Spanish, is designed for adults who do not have a high school diploma.

The ACE GED program focuses on helping adults prepare for the GED state examination. The certificate students receive upon passing the Texas GED exam is accepted as an equivalent to a high school diploma by employers and colleges across the United States.  

The next GED session begins February 5th and runs through May 16th. Classes are held from 6 to 9 pm every Monday and Wednesday. In addition, ACE offers monthly signups for new students. For more information, contact ACE at 940-668-4272 or on the web at ace.nctc.edu.
