NAIL - Building a Better You

Finding a Better Job

The Construction Industry is Hiring ... Are You Ready?
NCTC has partnered with the Texas Workforce Commission to develop and oversee a program specifically to train individuals like you for entry and advancement in the building construction trade. From basic job-site safety to tool use, understanding drawings and communicating with peers and customers, this is the training that helps you get the certifications and degrees that can provide not just jobs but better jobs, better pay and lifelong careers.

Any requirements?
You must be 18 or older, a U.S. Citizen or certified to work in the U.S., and if male, registered for U.S. Selective Service. Other than that, costs are minimal because of the scholarships available from the program. Grant funds are only available through 12/31/20 so it pays to get involved now.

Realistically, the only barriers here are your commitment and the time you’ll invest in mastering these valuable skills.

NCTC’s Career Services staff will even help you with connecting to hiring companies to maximize your newly acquired skills. Seems simple enough, so take the first steps to building a better you, and get your questions answered today.
