First State Bank Exchange

Start Smarter... NCTC Creates Opportunities in Downtown Denton

North Central Texas College is proud to see the new First State Bank Exchange in full operation in downtown Denton. Originally opened for the 2019-2020 school year, the campus is thriving under the leadership of Jessica DeRoche, offering both cohort and hybrid classes, and the extra benefit of concurrent classes for university students needing core and transfer credits.

The Exchange is located in the former Denton Record-Chronicle building.

About the FSB Exchange

Creating a hub for students downtown, the 45,214 sq. ft. center is all about convenience and learning. Transfer credits and Associate Degrees including Associate of Arts (AA), the Associate of Science (AS), and the Associate of Arts in Teaching (ATT) are the core focus for the nine classrooms, two large lecture classrooms, and a single large lecture hall. In addition, there is a testing center, computer lab, security office, and NCTC’s new Mane Stop – a one-stop-shop for student services.

The FSB Exchange also brings to downtown an additional 300 parking spaces in our separate four-story parking garage. Students also have ready access to complementary shuttles and train service via DCTA’s transit station, two blocks from campus

Hours of Operation

Hours of operation will be based on the class schedule. NCTC is not only working to sync our classes with DCTA’s transit schedule, the FSB Exchange will also accommodate Student needs with:

  • Extended Class Hours
  • Monday - Thursday Hours of 7:00 AM To 11:00 PM
