Courageous Conversations

Courageous Conversations is a series of monthly meetings that occur throughout the district. Through dialogue about individual experiences, its mission is to understand and minimize biased and divisive beliefs for the benefit of the campus community and beyond.
The top 3 goals of the conversations are as follows:
- Create a place for people to feel comfortable and safe to share their perspectives and experiences.
- Facilitate conversations that enable people from different cultures and backgrounds to reach a deeper understanding of each other’s lives and struggles.
- Foster a desire to increase awareness of and advocate for social justice issues within and beyond the campus community.
