NCTC Career Services is ready to help you meet your career goals. Whether you are aiming to start a new career, deciding on a major, or looking to practice your interview skills; we are here to help!

  • Career Coaching- Job Search, job referral, job fairs, and job placement which may include counseling, assessment, and occupational and labor market information.
  • Special needs populations - activities targeted to assist groups of worker who are traditionally underrepresented in a given occupation.
  • Skills to Succeed Academy- Interactive and individualized career exploration and development tools that helps students build the skills and confidence they need to make smart career choices and find and succeed in employment.
  • Training - activities tied to work experience, internships, entrepreneurship, or job placement.

North Central Texas College uses College Central Network as it official job resource and resume system. Students, alumni, and employers easily create an account at CareerLion.

  • Students, easily apply to jobs and Internships/Co-op job opportunities posted exclusively for you and search other opportunities via Job Central and Intern Central, national job boards.
  • Create and upload your resume and career portfolio to make available to employers
  • Access our events calendar and career/job search advice documents, podcasts, videos and more
  • Employers search for talented students and alumni, and post unlimited jobs for free.

Technical Program Faculty

Students enrolled in technical education programs such as criminal justice, nursing, cosmetology, drafting, surgical technology, office systems technology, equine science, business management, computer information technology, agricultural science, radiology technology, petroleum technology, and emergency medical services may network with department faculty to receive advising related to potential careers. Faculty members are also available to assist students in contacting prospective employers for internship and employment opportunities.
