Requirements
As a high school graduate or first-time in college student, you will need to complete many of the following steps. Financial aid, housing, and scholarships are all resources you can pursue!



Step Two: Submit Transcripts
Submit an official high school transcript or your GED® scores with the graduation date. Transcripts must be official; no faxed copies can be accepted. Electronic transcripts sent directly from the institution or third-party vendor are acceptable.


Step Three: TSIA2 Scores
You may need to complete the testing requirements for the Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) and submit your scores to the Admissions Office.

Step Four: Meningitis Vaccine
If you are under 22, you may need to provide the Admissions Office with documentation that you received a meningitis vaccination.

Step Five: Register for Classes
When you're cleared for registration, meet with an advisor to help decide your major and choose classes that will set you on the most successful pathway. Walk-ins are welcome at the Counseling & Testing Office.

Step Six: Get Your Parking Pass
Beginning Fall 2019 parking permits will be required on all campuses.

Step Seven: Apply for Financial Aid
One of the best ways of securing financial aid is to fill out the FAFSA online.

Step Eight: Scholarships
You can search for and apply for scholarships online through our Scholarship Application Portal or contact Financial Aid, the NCTC Foundation, or any academic department.
