SBDC adds new Senior Business Advisor

britt-krhovjak.jpgStarting August 1 in the 2018 Fall Semester, Britt Krhovjak became the new senior business advisor for the North Central Texas Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Krhovjak has had 20 years of small business ownership experience as an accounting and bookkeeping advisor which helps in his role of advising start-ups, entrepreneurs, and young business to grow and become sustainable.

Krhovjak is a long time Denton resident with an MBA from University of North Texas.

“I was looking for a position where I could give back to the community, and since I already enjoyed working with the Denton business community, it was a natural fit,” Krhovjak said.

The SBDC, in partnership with North Central Texas College and the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA), is a professional organization that offers no cost counseling and practical assistance to potential and existing businesses in Cooke, Denton, and Montague Counties so that they will survive, grow and prosper. 

At the SBDC, certified business advisors and professionals recruited from the business world, like Krhovjak, provide hands-on, expert instruction to assist those small business owners start, sustain, and perhaps expand their businesses.
