The West Texas Assessment Conference Committee recently announced the formation of an exciting new partnership between Texas Tech University, Angelo State University, the University of North Texas, North Central Texas College, Texas A&M University – Central Texas, Texas A&M International University, and West Texas A&M University.

These institutions will host the 7thannual Texas Association for Higher Education Assessment (TxAHEA) Conference in Denton, Texas at the University of North Texas Gateway Center on October 4-5, 2018.

The goal of this conference is to bring together higher education professionals across Texas and the surrounding states to share ideas and information about accreditation and assessment.

“NCTC is proud to be one of the sponsors for the Texas Higher Education Assessment Conference,” said NCTC Chancellor Dr. Brent Wallace. “As there is continued pressure by accrediting agencies for further accountability through assessment, it is great to learn from other higher education institutions on ways in which they are working to better student learning.”
