Adult and Continuing Education (ACE), the non-credit division of North Central Texas College, invites the public to the unveiling of the new Mobile Go Center. The NCTC ACE Mobile Go Center Launch happens Tuesday, November 28th, in front of the NCTC Corinth main campus from 11am to 3pm. The public is encouraged to stop by at any time during the event.

“The Mobile Go Center provides ACE the ability to deliver on-site trainings for our area businesses and communities where training space is not otherwise available,” said Dean of Adult and Continuing Education Jessica Carlile.

Moreover, the NCTC ACE Mobile Go Center reduces the dependency on third party vendors while providing companies in North Texas alternatives for training their employees. Not limited to location, the Mobile Go Center takes higher education on the road, providing training, teaching and learning wherever needed.

The Mobile Go Center was funded by a grant from the Texas Pioneer Foundation, a private, independent foundation established in 2004 to provide financial support for programs that will improve the quality of education in Texas, are sustainable and can produce measurable results. The NCTC ACE Mobile Go Center will be able provide quality higher education and customized training programs wherever they are needed in Texas.

Carlile has high expectations and goals for the Mobile Go Center. “ACE is committed to providing training to area businesses and their employees as well as to the communities within our service areas.” Carlile said, “The Mobile Go Center allows us to better serve them by providing a hands-on classroom environment and allows trainers to teach and simulate in the same capacity.”

The November 28h Mobile Go Center Launch features a tailgate theme and the public is encouraged to tour the technology trailer and learn more about the courses offered through ACE and NCTC. For more information, please contact Angel Fitzpatrick at 940- 668-7731, ext. 4911 or afitzpatrick@nctc.edu.
