The Welding Refresher course teaches individuals how to improve welding skills and master welding processes. The Ag welding course will teach individuals how to weld and make repairs to metal structures, gates, furniture and more.

"Recreational welders will have an opportunity to come and practice their welding skills, and the refresher welding course will help those who need to practice for their welding certification," said Kim Birdwell, NCTC Graham Campus director.

The welding instructor will be present to assist students during these courses, and students must bring a welding helmet, gloves and steel-toed boots.
The class times and dates are listed below.

Welding Refresher: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 6-20, and costs $169. Registration deadline is Feb. 3. An additional course is offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, April 2-16, and costs $169. Registration deadline is April 6.

Ag Welding: 5 to 9 p.m. Fridays, March 4-25, and costs $169. Registration deadline is March 2. An additional course is offered from 5 to 9 p.m. Fridays, May 6-20, and costs $169. Registration deadline is May 4.

"The registration process for these courses is simple and the costs are reasonable," Birdwell said.
