Lifelong Learning, the non-credit division of North Central Texas College, is once again offering the Prime Timers program for Cooke County seniors.

This new program, offering classes designed specifically for seniors 62 years and older, was developed to show appreciation to Cooke County residents for their continued support of the college.

An orientation session will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Feb. 4, 2014 at NCTC's Little Theater. Seniors are invited to arrive early for refreshments and socializing. The orientation will outline available classes. There will be demonstrations, along with the opportunity to speak with instructors.

"Our program is expanding in membership and growing with in programming scope with the help of a phenomenal advisory board," said Community Education Coordinator Brandy Fausel. "We have added exciting new courses, as well as returning the most popular topics to the schedule. "

Classes, beginning in February and running through May, include photography, art, cooking, computers, Spanish, a variety of dance classes and more.

To register, seniors must bring proof of residency in Cooke County, proof of age and purchase a membership for$25. Gift certificates for membership will be available at the orientation.
