GRAHAM - Lifelong Learning, the non-credit division of North Central Texas College, will host a Career Fair for those interested in teaching community education classes at the NCTC Graham campus.

Potential students who would like to suggest topics are welcome to stop by as well.

The NCTC Lifelong Learning Career Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 5 at the NCTC Graham campus, 928 Cherry Street.

Community education classes are taken for fun. No grades are given in these classes, which usually meet three or four times for one to two hours each. NCTC Lifelong Learning can accommodate short lectures and longer technique-learning classes. Suggested topics include languages; jewelry making or other art forms; history, nature or science lectures; fitness; and nutrition. Ideas for other topics not listed are encouraged and welcomed.

"Lifelong Learning believes that the expertise and audience is present in Graham to build a solid community education program," said Brandy Fausel, NCTC Lifelong Learning Community Education Coordinator. "Recruiting from within the community also helps create classes that really pertain to citizens' needs and desires."

Interested instructors should bring a resume and class proposals.
