Nursing Students Attend State Conference

Students from North Central Texas College's Associate Degree Nursing program recently attended the annual Texas Nursing Students Association conference in Las Colinas.

More than 15 students from the local Student Nursing Association chapter were in attendance, including president Ryan Brown and faculty advisor Kimberly Rodgers RN MSN.Edu. Students participated as delegates and were able to voice their opinions on resolutions presented at the conference.

Elections for Texas Nursing Students Association board of directors were also held at the conference. Three NCTC students earned seats on the nine-person state board including Stephanie Stinger (president), Amy Bond (editor) and T.J. Reid (northern regional director).
