About the Festival:
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Art Attack. This event welcomes the beginning of spring by bringing art to the masses with high and low brow pieces for sale. Browse crafts, pottery, jewelry, and sweaters, alongside watercolors and acrylics. Local Texas artist Larry Lemons will be there to display his work!
Celebrating the diversity of art on display, the festival also features live entertainment sponsored by the North Central Texas Drama & Dance Department. This year's sets include NCTC Dancers, NCTC Jazz Band, and NCTC Drama. Also this year, the North Texas Youth Chorale will be performing on our new Stage.
Come hungry, since Lavender Ridge Farm has now opened their brand new café featuring such tempting treats as Lavender Pork Tenderloin or Lavender Chicken Salad.
Basically, the weekend will just be a great excuse to get together and enjoy good friends and great entertainment.
There are plenty of activities to keep adults and kids busy at the festival: Children’s art tent, horseshoes, walking tours, wine-tasting, culinary demos, a paper making demo, Frank Buck Zoo information/exhibit table, and of course, all the wonderful entertainment and vendors.

Art Attack Sponsored by ACE:
The Art Attack Festival grew out of the desire of a few members of the community who wanted to promote cultural activities in Cooke County. ACE was formed- Association of Cultural Enrichment. This group is made up of members from NCTC Drama & Dance, Lavender Ridge Farm, and Powell Fine Art.
This will be our 2nd Annual Art Attack Festival! We anticipate that, like last year, this grassroots festival will be a fun, informal opportunity for those of you interested in art, music, dance, theater, culinary delights and enjoying spending time together. There will be no charge for the weekend, but we will gratefully accept any donations of time or money to help cover costs.
