ANGEL Learning Suite is the online course management system at NCTC. (You may have used another CMS like Blackboard or WebCT.) ANGEL is used in all online courses and hybrid courses, and in many traditional courses. If you are taking an online course or a hybrid course, you should take the e-Learning orientation (available in Dec/Jan). You may download the ANGEL Student QuickStart Guide to help you get started in ANGEL.

The URL for ANGEL is:  www.angel.nctc.edu.  Your username in ANGEL is your Network ID. Your password is your SSN. You can get your Network ID from Campus Connect or from your instructor.  For directions on logging in to ANGEL, click here.

Be sure to check out directions your instructor may have posted for your on line course on the NCTC Website. (Select the directions link and scroll down to find your course.)  If you are taking an online course, you will be able to log into your course on Saturday, January 14; however, your course may not officially start until one day the following week.

You will find directions on the course welcome page. Some instructors like for you to email them upon enrollment in the course. Most instructors require orientation to the course. It may be online or on campus. Be sure you find out where yours is.  Failure to complete the orientation may result in you being dropped from the course.

It is very, very important that you have a working email address. Communication is critical in an online course, and your instructor must have some way to contact you when the class begins.  If you do not have an up-to-date email address in Campus Connect, please update it. Then you should notify your instructor.  Your instructor may be contacting you by telephone if you don't have an email address listed.
