TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS FOR ONLINE AND HYBRID COURSES
You must have access to a computer with Internet and email capability when you enroll in an online or hybrid course. While it may be possible to do some of your work in a computer lab, it is difficult to take a distance learning course without having a computer and Internet connection at home. ANGEL requires the use of browser cookies. Please add ANGEL to the list of trusted sites in your browser.
Pop-up blockers prevent certain items in ANGEL from being displayed, like adding attachments to course email. As a result, please disable the pop-up blocker in your browser.
You should also have an antivirus program installed on your computer, like McAfee or Norton. Most NCTC online and hybrid courses require the free Adobe Reader, as well as a word processing application, like Microsoft Word. Required software can usually be purchased from the NCTC Bookstore.
