STATE AUTHORIZATION: COMPLAINT PROCESS


 

The U.S. Department of Education requires distance learning institutions "provide its students or prospective students with contact information for filing complaints with its accreditor and with its State approval or licensing entity and any other relevant State official or agency that would appropriately handle a student’s complaint." NCTC students seeking to resolve a grievance should first reference the complaints section of the student handbook. However, in the event an issue about distance learning at NCTC cannot be resolved internally, students may contact the appropriate agency within their state of residence:
