PHED 1121 - AEROBIC WORKOUT II

This course is designed to improve the student's maximum muscular and cardiovascular endurance.

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Identify aerobic and anaerobic exercise
  • Define flexibility, agility, balance and coordination
  • Understand the importance of flexibility, agility, balance and coordination
  • Calculate body fat percentage
  • List different types of aerobic activity
  • Determine what constitutes Anaerobic Threshold
  • Describe reaction time as it pertains to exercise
  • Knowledgeable in muscular endurance and strength
  • Identify how oxygen is carried through the blood
