Principles of electricity including proper use of test equipment, A/C and D/C circuits, and component theory and operation. 32 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours

  • Identify basic principles of electricity (A/C and D/C), voltage, current, and circuitry
  • Apply Ohm's law to electrical calculations
  • Use test equipment to measure continuity, voltage, and current values
