DFTG 1358 - ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC DRAFTING

Electrical and electronic drawings stressing modern representation used for block diagrams, schematic diagrams, logic diagrams, wiring/assembly drawings, printed circuit board layouts, motor control diagrams, power distribution diagrams, and electrical one-line diagrams. 32 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Layout components and symbols, both electronic and electrical
  • Apply basic math and the theory of electricity
  • Utilize component identification including schematics, block, wiring, and logic
  • Perform diagram construction and drafting
