The Business Management program is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills directly applicable to a career in management as well as to update and sharpen their personal management skills. It provides quality workforce education to men and women seeking to qualify for positions of managerial responsibility in business and industry.

Classes focus on the specific needs of the student, whether that is to work for a large corporation or to manage a business as a sole proprietor. Students may pursue a certificate or an AAS in Business Management. All courses in the certificate apply toward the AAS.

The courses in Business Management are constructed to prepare students for management level positions in the workforce. Management professionals are needed in retail, corporations, hotel and hospitality, municipalities and government offices, and non-profit organizations. Professionals may be business owners, managers, or supervisors.

How long does it take to obtain this degree? add
The certificate in Business Management is designed to be completed in one year while the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree is set to conclude in two years. Students, however, may set their own pace.
Are any of the courses offered online? add

Yes, courses in Business Management are offered online in our online learning platform, Canvas. Online courses are comparable to classroom courses, but online courses may be attended at a time and place of the student’s choosing. Hybrid classes may also be available each semester. Check with the department for the current class schedule.

Will this program transfer to a four-year university? add
