We Call It Our WINDOWS* Program…

But it could be your DOORWAY to opportunity
As a Nurse or in a Nursing-Related Profession!

Established through a special grant, the WINDOWS Program at NCTC is aimed at addressing the shortage of workers who are trained and licensed to provide nursing-related patient care in hospitals and long-term care facilities.  The program is open to all who qualify, but there is a special emphasis on providing scholarships and other assistance to bi-lingual applicants, single parents, first generation college students, veterans and homemakers.

We assist students in progressing through a number of nursing-related training programs ranging from a 6-week Nurse Aide training course to a 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing.  Through the WINDOWS grant, NCTC partners with local hospitals, nursing homes and school districts to help students get the training they need to get good jobs in the high-demand health care industry.
