Mrs. Linda Coolen completed undergraduate studies, the M.A., and post-graduate work at North Texas State University. She has taught French, reading, and ESL, as well as grammar and literature courses. She enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren, reading fiction, sponsoring student organizations, volunteering for political rallies and campaigns, working at the church, motorcycling, hiking, traveling overseas, and camping in a fifth-wheel with her husband (Ken), dog (Maggie), two cats (Bambina and Chaudchat), and a box turtle (Philmore).
