| As
a native of Cooke County, Janice Call began her career
in nursing thirty years ago as she enrolled in the required
sciences under Mr. Stanley and Mr. Crump. She completed
her Bachelor's degree in nursing at TWU shortly afterwards,
and has worked in a variety of nursing roles within this
community which included hospital staff nursing, industrial
nursing, school nursing, and physician's office nursing.
Her Master's degree was later completed at TWU in community
health nursing and she began her role as a nurse educator.
Janice also owned and operated a local home care agency
and contracted with NCTC to provide nursing students with
opportunities to learn about the care of clients at home.
She loves teaching nursing students and is dedicated to
her profession and to her community. Janice is also actively
involved in her church and choir and has one child still
in school. |
