Ms. Blankenship received an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1976 from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from TWU in 1990 and a Master of Science with a nursing major from TWU in 1992. Her nursing career has been varied with experience in Med-Surg Nursing, Pediatrics (a very short time), Psychiatric Nursing and Home Health. She has taught community classes and sponsored a support group for Diabetes clients. She has previously taught Transition from Vocational to Professional Nursing, Management, and Integrated Care for the Client with Common Health Care Problems at NCTC.  Currently, she is scheduled to teach Introduction to Professional Nursing.
