College is about exploring new ideas and concepts and at NCTC Drama we take that idea very seriously. We recognize that our students are coming here not only for an excellent education, but also for experience. Each year, NCTC Drama provides a wide range of roles both on and offstage by producing six main stage shows and two acting showcases. NCTC Drama also participates in a variety of theatre festivals all around the state of Texas.

Whether preparing for a specific career field or just seeking a general education background, students will find that the insights gained and the skills developed in
drama courses and performances will be an asset in any job. Fundamentally, the
Drama
program at NCTC is designed to prepare students to transfer successfully
to a four year school. BUT, drama courses
at NCTC are…

A number of scholarships
are available to students majoring in Drama at NCTC.
The amount
of awards varies, but many cover costs of tuition/fees, books
and
other expenses, and some even include on-campus housing.
The first steps toward receiving scholarship assistance are:
1)
completing application for financial
aid, and
2) completing and submitting a scholarship
application.
